How we calculate
Each platform has its own fee schedule. We apply the published rates to the numbers you enter, one sale at a time, then multiply by your monthly orders. The effective rate is total monthly fees divided by total monthly sales, including shipping you charge the buyer.
Some platforms charge fees on the item only. Others also charge on shipping and sales tax. We follow each platform’s own rule, and the table below says which. The calculator does not ask for sales tax, so platforms that charge fees on tax will cost slightly more than shown.
On e-SwapMeet the cost is the monthly subscription. You keep the price you set. Card processing is built into the price the shopper sees on shipped items, and there is none on local pickup.
