Description
The Razer DeathAdder Essential is a wired optical gaming mouse built around a 6400 DPI sensor and five independently programmable buttons. It has been a baseline recommendation for PC gamers for years — not because of flashy specs, but because it works consistently across a wide range of hand sizes and grip styles.
The optical sensor tracks accurately on most surfaces without needing a dedicated mousepad. DPI adjusts to match whatever sensitivity you use for games, design work, or general navigation. The shape is right-handed ergonomic with a contoured grip that holds up over long sessions without fatigue.
Five programmable buttons: left-click, right-click, scroll wheel click, and two side buttons positioned for thumb access. Razer Synapse software lets you remap them or set per-application profiles, though the mouse works out of the box without any software installed.
The cable is braided. The connection is wired — no batteries to charge, no wireless latency to account for. A straightforward mouse that does what it is supposed to do.
